It's my immense pleasure to congratulate Rotary Club of Chandpur on occasion of golden jubilee of receiving Charter Certificate. It's a glorious moment in respect of time to embrace a golden jubilee. There is a very few club that is so ancient and vibrant like Rotary Club of Chandpur. In the year 1970, 20th November the club started It's journey and received the charter certificate in 1974, 12th April. The club is a pride for District 3282. I felt very pleasant to visit the club and noticed their enthusiasm. On this auspicious day, I'd like to solemnly remember the charter president of the club, late Dr. Noorur Rahman, who led the club to the shore of Rotary arena. The club has its own building which is a matter of prestige too. The club wombed some wonderful and active leaders who framed the club so neatly.

Now a days, we are living in an agitating world. We are the survivors of Covid 19 pandemic. We too are suffering due to the war between Russia and Ukraine. International economy is very delicate and uvlnerable by now. In this difficult situation, we are just feeling a current of zephyr to celebrate the jubilee. I, on behalf of the district, do applaud all respectable members to have the honor of being part of the club.

May Rotary Club of Chandpur live long. Rotary movement may remain on going.
